This is hardly worth sticking up but I'm doing it anyway because I like this sort of place, so others may too. All cities have these marginal wastelands, usually around railways, canals or road junctions. This one is an expanse of dereliction between Hawthorn Road and the Leeds-Liverpool canal in Bootle comprising a large former bus depot shed along with several smaller sheds, retail units and little office blocks. All trashed and empty, but nevertheless good for a summer evening mooch when the buddleia is in flower.
