History on this place is from other reports on here ive seen not managed to find much else on the place,
the mine was worked for Fluorspar and calcite by a team of seven men below ground and ten men at the surface up until the early 1980's when it finally shut, There was originally 6 levels worked which would have been accessed by a now flooded steep incline.
There are some impressive stopes and nice calcified walls in this places and a lot of the levels are still accessible via ladders with some bits requiring SRT which i shall be returning to do as i didnt have it with me.
