Continuing with my mini tour of local ROC posts, today I went over to Hertford. Well, actually the pleasant village of Bramfield, as the post is quite a way from Hertford.
The compound is the best I have seen in these parts - all the fence posts are still standing and wired up and the best way in is through the gate.
Does anyone know what the red thing is? It's a metal box filled with concrete - some sort of weight or anchor?
The post is OPEN with a hatch in good condition. The sump is a bit wet but someone has made off with the pump. In fact, people have removed most of the smaller bits and pieces, including the Elsan.
