I first visited here with @ACID- REFLUX
then lost my photographs while editing , managing to recover 14 of them
so returned on a solo visit for the remaining 5.
nothing epic but well worth a visit.
photographs 1 2 9 13 & 14 were took during April 2016
Originally built in 1828 as a private residence,
became Holly Lodge girls school in 1922
& remained as until its closure in 2015
due to a new school being built behind it.
2 buildings Fremont & Sandheys will remain, both are grade 2 listed
the remaining will be demo'd to make way for housing.
Since the buildings became empty theyve been used for filming,
sets including a police station & prison are in situ.
