This location was a Sally Port in the South Lines of Dover Western Heights. It’s called the Hospital Sally Port because it’s a Sally Port (durr.) near the site of the Military Hospital and is Napoleonic like the rest of the fort. It’s small but well preserved with a drawbridge at the entrance( ok, it’s decayed but you can see it unlike some of the other bridges outside the fort.) and the doors/gates at the entrance.
