The Kirchhorst Freizeitpark near Hannover, was an amusement park for children that opened sometime during the 1960s. Sadly, its life was short lived, and it closed for good in Autumn of 1985, due to rising costs. Many of the rides were reused in other theme parks around Europe, including a coaster which went to one in Southport in England.
Sadly, there are not a huge amount of features left here, and no really interesting rides to speak of. Some old buildings are left though, and it was interesting to have a mooch around. Visited with a non-member (my brother)
Old sign near entrance
The main entrance
This was the refreshments kiosk
I don't know what "bluna" is...
A water feature
A model train would have passed over this bridge
Only sign to identify the place
No idea what this was
Or this...
Nature reclaiming this park bench
Loads of old trailers knocking about
Lots of concrete paths, leading the way around the park
