Report - Knostrop treatment works, Leeds, September 2015

First getting lost in the treatment works,
then reaching the outfall too find a high wall, the corner been the only low part.
The water was 2 feet here, but prodding the dirt below with my tripod it disapeared.
So wasnt gonna risk getting stuck.
No way I was wanting a failure so decided I would follow the culvert through the treatment works,
wasnt long until I found a way in wouldnt want too get caught here so had too be alert.
Theres always a risk the sluice gates will drop their load & the stench of crap is evident,
well above all its a treatment works.

Knostrop is a sewerage & industrial waste treatment works,
the discharge culvert is 400yds from in (sewer) to outfall which discharges too the Aire.
Theres 4 sections too the culvert 1 100yds, 2 30yds, 3 70yds & 4 200yds
made of a red brick arch with a penstock between sections 1, 2 & 3, 4.
