Visited with lenston147, The Kwan, Morrisey and five non members.

HISTORY

From Morrisey - Lancs Coal and operated for close on 100 years supplying it's products to the local industries. Cracking little back breaking mine with lots to keep people occupied.

THE VISIT

Firstly, huge, huge thanks to Morrisey (and his moochers !) for the chance to visit this cracking mine. Fantastic company, great history on the mine itself and others in the area and an absolute belter of a way to spend a Sunday. Many thanks M & friends.

Secondly, huge, huge thanks to The Kwan, Mrs. Kwan and Ms. Kwan for putting us up (and putting up with us !) for the weekend and also to Kwan for organising this one for us and the previously days entertainment at Bunker (where we met Telf - great to meet you).

As you all know, hope to do the same for you all in South Wales in the not too distant future.
