Their are thousands of lead mine trials around wales that don’t have any history that’s listed on paper , it’s because such ventures that started as a slight outcrop on the surface often found near quartz are followed into the hillside then the calculations of maths deem it non profitable for it to be continued further . This does not mean they are at all less fun than the big mines ! Visited here with @Bikin Glynn it’s a few hundred metre tunnel with a few turns into blind headings .

After pulling some ferns out the hill side their is around a 2” air gap enough to make a move inside, if your stupid enough the issue is the floor could be many feet lower and swimming in this stuff in full kit with sacks is hard work .
Now I decided to start mixing it up it’s sort of like mixing a cake you want the right consistency you no what I mean?? It has to flow cannot be to stodgy.
After doing a duck under the door frame “ a Duck is where you go under water and come back up on a breath of air “ this photo is taken as my chin is in the sh”t and I am Holding the phone on the roof the first 30 meters we was bouncing on tip toes to avoid the drowning issue .
The gap in these formations we had to sadly make to gain access inside it was completely blocked solid no one has been in here for a mega mega long time . We was constantly tripping over railway sleepers / timbering on the ground that we couldn’t see.
after a further awkward crawl in the filth we made it to what I would call mainly dry passage
The rewards for all are suffering still not a single sign of man in a long time !
And wow a really unique artefact left as it was how the formations have bonded this to the wall is amazing , purpose of this is unknown many theories but I shall not speculate .WE DIDNT TURN THIS INCASE OFF DAMAGE
