Thought I had posted more pics up of the Towers, but can't see that I have, so here they are! Security was always interesting, for a long time there were dogs left running loose inside the place. Later the dogs went but security patrolled a lot, however they seemed quite deaf/blind! Had some great comedy moments there with security

The Leicester Borough Lunatic Asylum was opened in 1869. The name "Towers Hospital" was acquired in 1947. The later male side and nurses home is still in use.
