Leicester efforts 2003 - 06

I've put these up for the benefit of the Leicester crowd to put some pics to the many stories of past explores I've been spinning off over the past couple of months. For Turkey and I,Leicester seemed a bit of a mecca for derelict buildings in 2003 - 04 and I even used to catch the train pre driving licence to have a poke about and see what I could find. Fast forward a couple of years and we have cars, and I also found myself with a missus in Rutland which meant frequent trips through Leicester. It's been quite fun digging these old pics out, and it's been hard to believe just how long ago it was we went in these places!!

This was Bestway cash and carry,a former factory with fine deco frontage...Anyone know it's original use?

Frisby Jarvis C2004! It really was a pretty epic place in those days!

God knows what this belonged to...it was opposite the space center and was pulled down 2004.

Climbing this baby is still one of my all time greats, in broad daylight too

Trains delayed and you have a hour to kill... I spent it productively! Early 2005

I had the chance to do this bad boy in 2004 but I bottled it...It took till 06 to get another chance!

Note the blackened clock tower before it's clean. I'd end up climbing that too 6 months later
