In June this year we visitied this cool location.
The piano factory was build in 1947 by Eduard Seiler. In this huge factory they mainly produced piano's under the "legnica" brand, untill the company went bankrupt in 1998.
In 1992, the former owner of LFFP, wanted to expand his business and so they acquired a brand called "T. Betting" from Janusz Betting, a rival piano maker in Poland.
LFFP also produced piano's under the "Offberg" brand, aimed at the international market.
After the factory went bankrupt, some of the buildings have been used as a furniture store and others for the production of underwear. Today, non of these activities remained and the buildings are mostly empty and "well protected" by a guard and his watch-dog...
Luckily some parts of the factory and especially the warehouse are untouched, which makes it a great location for a good and exciting explore.
