Lydden spout battery was a manmade structure built along the white cliffs of Dover during World War 2. The tunnels underneath formed part of a plotting room and is accessible via an opening in the cliff face.
This visit and picutres was back in 2016, but as of July 2020 the site is still accessible and in reasonably good condition.
