I spent the rest of the day on the second line of bunkers. Just about finished all the bunkers in this forest now.

Looking through the firing slit. The platform for the cannon is raised inside. The ammunition entrance in through the bunker at the back.
This was blocked the old rails in to slots when in action.

I took them at the end of October, when did you visit? It is at the junction of the D5611 and the Dietwiller- Niffer road. There are four bunkers at thin junction including on which was fitted for a turret. Be a shame if they are now closed.
