Maginot Line - Bunkers and Pill Boxes in Alsace 4

Sorry for the odd post this is the correct one. The next bunkers are in the Hardt Forest at a crossing on the main Kembs to Sierentz road. It consists of an infantry casemate with three supporting MG cuppolas. I saw two and managed to get into one (next visit I will be in as I now know the layout and where the hidden entrance is).

PA252-2 Fulcrum MG position, quick peek inside but could not find the entrance.

This is PA 252-1 Fulcrum MG position, just spotted down attack from the road, managed to find a hidden entrance to get in.

I could see the tunnel leading to the entrance so gave me an idea where to look.

Found it hidden under a pile of branches.

PA 252-4 Infantry casemate supporting the three MG positions, ( I still need to find 252-3) the casemate was a bit difficult to spot. The entrance was through a tunnel from a quarry into a courtyard, then into the bunker.

I think I have worked out where the tunnel entrance to the first MG position is. I will go looking this weekend. Loads more to explore.

There is loads more in this forest, I managed to find a 1930's map on the internet which shows where the bunkers and batteries they are located just need to see if they have not been filled in.
