Report - Marefield Culvert, Leicester - March 2015

[The Shepshed Diamondback]

This was I nice little explore in a great day out with Miss Mayhem and KM Punk.

this is a really nice explore that was built during 1877-1878 as part of a railway construction. the culvert itself is just down the road from Marefield. the brook flowing through it enters through the eastern portals then out via the two western portals. These old places definitely make the best explores in my opinion.

did you get any photos of the underground junction?

I actually did but it came out blurred when I looked at it later, there was so much water dripping on us I couldn't tell when I was down there.
