Report - Medlock culverts, Manchester, June 2014

The Medlock rises at Strinesdale,
the culverts start at Etihad Stadium
and finish at Potato Wharf
length of about 4 miles.
The Medlock then continues, merging with the Irwell at Hume Locks.

Top effort, some of the old stuff down there is well worth a look, I've been down a fair few times and never tire of seeing this lot

Nice one mate, Pics are bob on, I know you battled with the elements a lot, along the way. The rocks before Humpty and the shit that's washed through (and been left there) are a fucking disgrace. Environ-mental. They gave up breaking up the concrete, from under the bricks, in the end. Why can't they just leave things be.

Yeh mate, mostly shin/knee deep with the occasional dip to knackers.
