Report - National Gas Turbine Establishment Pyestock- Mid April 2013

It was time for my 1st visit to Pyestock before it was all to late.
I shall not bother with the History as it may have been done once or twice before.

A nice 4 am start with our driver and we were of to pick up Darbians, got to the site about half 7 and then off we went. Necking a gallon of red bull as I was already feeling the only 3 hours of sleep in 48 hrs in we went.... And all I can say is omg this site is really something else.

Even though I have never seen the site before you can see how quickly they are tearing it all down

Good stuff, wish if started doing this hobby before they decided the immense history of the place was worth nothing and started to rip it down so could have gone myself and seen it in it's heyday
