Hey everyone!
My name is madi, im new to this forum and was directed to it by a close friend of mine. i decided i will create this as little get to know me post before i post a few pictures from a recent explore.
i started urban exploring in january this year with a family member i had done it before but alone and decided to turn away which i regret, but this family memeber ended up moving away a few months ago and this was when i started exploring with friends. ive realised during this time i really enjoy getting out with friends to new places and learning the history along the way. I am always looking for more people to explore with in my area as its nice to meet new faces and learn what they love about these places.
Growing up i taught myself photography with the help of my grandad but my focus was on concert photography and only recently have i been trying to learn nature photography which in my opinion is a lot more difficult and i admire all the fellow photographers on here and the work they do, im still learning so my photos arent the best but im still very proud of them!
The thing i love about exploring is the architecture and trying to figure out why thing are the way they are, as architecture is a massive interest of mine. However, i also love when i go exploring with the friend who introduced me to this forum as he knows a lot of history and he will just rant on about the history of the place we are at if he knows it and that gets me interested and excited about it. I personally struggle to read up on things myself so having a friend who will do that and then talk to me about it is really helpful and allows me to learn things too.
