Been on my list for ages, looks like things could be happening here so thought it's time to take a look.
Built in 1882 as railway workshops and then extended over the years to make an interesting mix of building styles and adaptations.
The workshops look as if the serviced not only main line trains but also the narrow gauge railway that ran around the harbour and out to the arm. Later the railway moved to building further inland and the workshops were taken over by the harbour to maintain boats. Luckily the main buildings are now Grade 2 Listed so will maintain a presence in Newhaven for the future.
Rails still in the ground
That's a big Ore
Main workshops
Stores
Smaller workshop/paint room

The Quay
This place was more interesting than I thought with a few hidden gems. Didn't bother posting photo's of the drawing room as its been trashed
