Built around the 1930s Hull has a series of utility tunnels under the river hull usually situated near bridges. (Ferry lane bridge, Sutton road bridge, Scott street bridge, North bridge and Drypool bridge. Also a 1M diameter utility tunnel running under Myton bridge)
These tunnels carry a single water pipe (apart from ferry lane bridge which has 2) electrical cables, fiber cables and various others. They running from one side of the river to the other they're about 50M long and 30M in depth.
Enjoy the images.
