Allo, I figured I'd post an introduction as a formal promise to myself that I'm going to commit to this new hobby ha! Anyway, I'm a total spring chicken to urbex with no prior knowledge or experience except a fervent burning itch to get started and explore. Having read a couple of threads on here, the community seems super cool and reminds me a lot of bouldering and freeclimbing (I hope no one takes offence to that lol), in the sense that those more knowledgeable are friendly and happy to share said knowledge to us beginners.
Got a decent camera that I'd definitely love to use on reports and just looking to enjoy new company and experiences.
Planning on doing a reccy on an underground site in a couple of days in the daytime (I know, not wise at all but I'm blind as a bat and don't quite fancy my first explore to end up in the A&E) so any tips would be greatly appreciated!
