Report - One Hagley Road, Birmingham

The Explore
We set off on a rainy night in Birmingham looking to head up to the roof of five ways tower but somehow ended up this one which I've heard has been sealed up for many years apparently.. lots of cameras around which we somehow managed to avoid but when we came out there was a G4S van outside so we made a swift exit.

The History
Not much history I can find other than this about the redevelopment
One Hagley Road, also known as Metropolitan House, is undergoing a major renovation programme to create 271 apartments on the west end of Broad Street.
The development has proved popular as all of the units were snapped up by a mix of owner-occupiers and investors just a few months after the building was acquired by Seven Capital.

First I've seen from here which I thought was odd as it's been scaffed for absolutely ages. Been past it on the coach a couple times but never in the area.

Its basically a full building site now converting it to apartments, the top floors already have the bathrooms fitted and stuff

Good to see somone had a look. Considered it but after doing the one across the road it didn't seem worth it for me.

fairplay for getting up their guys, glanced up here on the way back to worcester the other day, might have stopped if i didn't have somewhere to be but same as speed did the other side of the road back in feb so not too fussed
