Powerplant V is an abandoned Hydro-electric power plant in Italy which appears to be attached to a factory of some description. Whilst the majority of the site has been abandoned for quite some time, there are some buildings which appear to be still in use possibly still generating power from the nearby water source. The site itself was pretty massive and comprised of multiple building, the largest of which housed the main turbine halls and the iconic Control rooms which overlook the V-shaped layout of the 2 turbine rooms. Whilst Industrial location aren’t my preference, the level of decay and sheer scale of this place made it really fun to explore and we had a good climb around checking out as much as we could in the short time we had before sunset.
