First time visit to this sprawling base. I have read quite a bit about what was there previously and thought I should see for myself, some guidance from a friend who has been here a few times now,
There are a large number of buildings all in serious states of mindless vandalism, with holes punched through plasterboard walls and stakes embedded in them that has been thrown like darts. One of the buildings in particular has been set on fire and is easily smoke damaged.
As somewhere local to me, this is a great site to kill some time exploring, some great photo opportunities. Need to head back again, perhaps at night or on a late evening.
