ROTOR was a air defence system used by the British Government and built in the early 1950s. This place got problem with flooding like most places underground. All the water is pumped out and the owner is working to restore as much as possible. As shown on the picture there is alot of work to do.
From what i remember this ROTOR bunker has the best preserved plotting table.
Thanks to SubBrit for showing us this bunker!
This is the emergency exit and now serves as the main entrance.
The Kitchen
Here was the place of the plotting table and the projector
Down to the 2nd floor
This corridor is what you see when you have walked down the stair
Dont know what this room was but it look like some sort of power-room
From our south England tour this late summer, it looks like there is a lot of cool things to see in England.[/URL]
