Report - Rainbow Fun House, Torquay, October 2018

History on the site (going from memory as can't find info): It was built in 1894 as the Church of the Holy Trinity. At some later point it seems like it used to be a bowling alley but cannot confirm. Around the 2000 era it was turned into a indoor soft play area called the Rainbow Fun House. Around 2010-2012 it was closed down, think it was due to poor hygiene of the play area and/ or company went bankrupt.
The site has no security but is pretty well secured.

I was gutted to find all the ball pits gone, only the ghosts of some balls remain

The owner retired and I think the asking price was around £600k.It was put on the market again with a guide price of £150-200k,again it failed to sell.Yesterday it suffered serious damage due to a fire.I understand most of the equipment was still in the building.

I went past the building today. It's still standing but reported to have 80% smoke damage inside. Might try to get in once it calmed down.

It must be a right mess inside floorwise,if all that gear was actually still in there.Let it cool down first,or you'll get stuck solid.
