There are various reports on this & @MotionlessMike has a lot of information about this place. I went here on my day trip of exploring, didn’t even plan to come here we found it on the off chance but it definitely didn’t disappoint.

Not a bad set there. The place looks huge. Wouldnt mind a few more of your photos, I know its been covered before, but sometimes someone just manages to shoot something that hasnt been posted before. Good stuff. Just needs a wee bit of self written history & mth & yr in title and this is golden :thumb

Thankyou very much, it is a huge place, there’s about 8 different buildings but some of them are inaccessible. I might add a bit of history in the post to be honest, but I appreciate the feedback :)

Edited Tile - But needs a bit of history added

Not been here for decades!

Am I right in saying that it's only the Accommodation Blocks (St Barbara's Barracks) that remain in the camp?
I am surprised that they do remain a the main Cookhouse and HQ building were demolished!

There is a lot more of the Vehicle Depot (CVD Marchington) next door remaining as it was rebuilt as a industrial estate.

I’m not actually sure tbh, I think it is just the accommodation blocks remaining, they’re all identical buildings. We drove to the industrial estate next door & couldn’t see any other abandoned buildings.
