A bit of history on this small building. Originally a Welsh Chapel built in 1870 around the same time the historic Rock Park Development was built. In 1963 it was taken over for worship by the Baptist community, for which it served until 2005, when it closed down.
A planning application was lodged in 2009 for the demolition of the church and the erection of a three storey block of nine flats [Wirral planning application reference OUT/09/06474], but this was refused as:
So the future of this building is uncertain. Local estate agents, Sutton Kersh are selling the freehold on the building[PDF], but what will become of it is anyone's guess.
Kevsy21 posted a report for this place about a year ago here, and the place seems to have been cleaned up internally since then but the false ceiling has gone. There is a basement but that's locked up tight.

The proposal would adversely affect the comprehensive redevelopment of the area being undertaken in
accordance with the ‘Fiveways’ Rock Ferry Masterplan for the New Heartlands Housing Market Renewal
Pathfinder Initiative. This would be harmful to the regeneration of the area, contrary to Policy URN1 of
the Wirral Unitary Development Plan, and Policies DP2, DP7, L2, L3, L4 and LCR2 of the Regional
Spatial Strategy.
