It's taken me a while to actually go through these pictures as I'd sort of forgotten this place existed! Visited after an all nighter of checking out some of the cities views from up high with @AndyK
The old Royal London building was closed down in 2012 after the new facility next door was finished. The building that we visited was only a very small part of what was the original hospital.
It was mostly stripped and empty but the top floor was probably the best kept, it was pretty much just a whole corridor of operating theatres, which I spent the majority of my time there shooting.
Besides the top couple of floors the place was pretty empty, but it had its own gems.
Whilst we were inside the security man turned up for his shift, and turned all the lights on inside for us
It was pretty fun sneaking around every corner and listening for the next footsteps as we crept around.
Photos:
(As I say, the place was pretty much just about the theatres)
Few other bits:
Chapel:
(About the only shot, it was a tiny room)
Cheers
