History/Background - The site is effectively a graveyard for cars, buses and motorbikes that have been involved in accidents. Usually the vehicles here are involved in tragic collisions - and some of the mangled buses have a horrendous history and are surrounded with religious and superstitious offerings to the ghosts of those who died.
I will spare you the urban legends and ghost stories that surround such places; whilst fascinating, I appreciate that this isn't the site for such things.
The site is situated in the outskirts of Bangkok and hidden from site by the undergrowth. I spoke with a homeless local who had made the old "evidence processing" building into her home and she just confirmed what I already knew about the site. As you can see from the photos, it's largely a dumping ground for evidence which has just been neglected. There were a few "fresh" pieces of evidence at one end of the lot, but most of these cases are decades old.
