Built in the 1960s
"Salesian schools are dedicated to young people in an educational and formative environment. According to promoters, a Salesian school is a house, church, playground, and school where students find a new way of life, and prepare for their future as good citizens of their country, while being faithful to their own religion."
The institute was of course very religious due to its largely strong ties with the Roman Catholic church but was predominantly set up to enrich students in music. It was also a boarding school.
Another one I was too late visiting. Some tidying up has begun, with all the furniture being stracked up making it a lot less photogenic.
I suppose by UK standards, this wasnt so bad, but by this point on the trip I felt a lot of my research was a bit out of date.
Entry points had been sealed up, so climbing was required.
