Couldn’t find much info on the place due to it being a part of the super duper top secret SAS base in Herefordshire.
Judging by the photos that we found inside the building, it looks like it was used as a training facility for training helicopter pilots using state-of-the-art virtual-reality technology. We believe these were designed by a high ranking SAS captain ‘Bigjobs’ as his name was printed on one of the complex VR machines pictured.
On the grounds there was also a firing range where they trained SAS soldiers to operate an array of weapons in various amphibious vehicles. As well as the firing range, there was a full size helicopter pad with an abandoned Chinook.
One of the highlights of the explore was the workshop, we found pictures which looked like it would have been epic back in the day, but unfortunately when we got there all the tools had been cleared out.
We were not sure whether or not this was still a live facility due to the large spray painting on the front door, specifying ‘not derp’, however, it doesn’t look like anyone would have been stupid enough to live in that soggy shithole for at least 10 years, with a giant bees nest in one of the bathrooms, and bowed ceilings in most of the rooms.
