Shorrocks Hill Country Club and Function Suite are situated on the edge of fifty acres of private woodlands in the affluent area of Formby, Merseyside. Formby is located approximately 12 miles from the City of Liverpool and 5 miles from Southport town centre.

Shorrocks is now back in the news again as angry residents are signing up against having the site and land demolished to make for 60 new houses, having walked the grounds through the ‘enchanted forrest’ I can see exactly we’re they are coming from, the building may be in disarray but the land is fabulous, I’m sure somone our there could refit the building as 90% of the structure is fine, just needs abit if roof sorting and then obviously damp sorted and the fire damage, but will be a complete shame to knock down this once iconic building

Nice explore. Why the hell does a night club have all those dvds! Do you have any shots of the outside of the building. The area looks nice from the car park. Surely residents would prefer houses to a night club, well I know I would lol

I believe they used to sell them under counter,
And the place was a spa resort restraunt and a night club, I’ll find a pic of the outside when I’m home, there is another report on here from someone else worh the out side picture
