Report - Silverlands, Chertsey - A look at 5 years of decay - 2014/2019

I took a wander back here almost exactly 5 years after I visited before, to say goodbye.
Things have changed quite dramatically over that time. Some of it looks terrible, some of it has matured its own weird way.
Such a waste that this was suddenly left to total ruin by thieves and vandals, there was even people ripping out lead from the window masonary as we left.
I'll be surprised if this ever gets saved now..

Sad to see. I remember this as it was in the 1st shot, the lights working, that wonderful staircase of course, and to watch report after report, each time its a little more wrecked is sad. With such a rich history too.

But I still never tire of seeing this place, nice reminder, thanks for sharing this

I REALLY want to go here, tried a few years ago but couldn't find a way in past the fence, was one of my first tempted explores so was a bit too cautious maybe

Quite daunting for a first explore, no cameras to work so just find a way over (or under ) the fence, then there's multiple open windows

Mid Wales Hospital the biggest showcase on that front. Look at the difference in ten years of no slate roof.
