This was my third attempt to locate this post I visited the location in the summer but was unable to find it. The amazing thing is that when I was there last I was parked no less than 20 yards from the post. The reason? The hedgerow was full of leaves. Hooray for winter now the leaves are on the ground.
Sorry in advance for the pics the rain was horizontal and there was no way I was taking my 400D out in that weather so just my phone cam.
The view through the hedge.
The post had it's own footbidge.
Which I crossed with extreme caution.
At least the gate looked in good nick.
The compound fence posts remained no wire however.
The post itself looked in excellent condition from the outside apart from a crack down the ventilation shaft adjacent to the hatch.
The hatch itself was secured by both battleship locks firmly in place.
This post was in excellent condition with no vandalism what so ever which is amaizing due to it being in spitting distance from "Chav central" (Skeggy).
