Visited with God, I thought I had better see this site before the wrecking crews moved in to flatten it. I was quite impressed with the site, it was a lot better than I had expected with many varied things to see.
Originally called A.E.Hawley and co die works the company explanded massivley becoming sketchley, one of the biggest and best known dry cleaners in the country. Most of the site is left as if the workforce have just walked out, with some christmas decorations still in place and bags of dry cleaning left hanging around, although some parts appear to have closed in the early 90's and are fairly rotten.
