SSSI - Manchester - July 2013
It was like this, we were going somewhere, then, when we got there, for one reason or another we decided it wasn't such a good idea, so, the back up drain plan came into play and we went somwhere else instead. Another stupidly hot night in Manchester found myself, Ojay, Stopford-lad and Marsden1002 wading our way through the triffids and nettles of Lochs Truly, down to the brook. After a short paddle, we were feeling cooler.
A shot or two.
A pleasant walk down the brook for starters...
Big thanks to Ojay for arranging it all.
Thanks you for looking.

Apparently SSSI is known as the worst smelling of all the local haunts, thankfully my nose doesn't work that well anymore, so all was good to these nostrils. Once in the 5 footish diameter RBP, firstly, is a huge inspection chamber, the top of which would serve as our exit. Then to the interceptor. It has a massive penstock and very wet and slippery wooden barriers, that would prove difficult to hold on to, for a shot or two.
