St. Athan Boys' Village, Aberthaw. - Sunday 16th March 2014

This is a fairly popular one, in fact, a quick search of the forum shows another forum member putting up a report only two weeks ago, so please excuse my naivety if there hasn't been a massive change.

The site is looking in poor condition, especially to those who have been visiting the site over recent years. The only buildings left in any kind of condition are the church building and the gymnasium.

The other buildings are all showing signs of heavy fire/water damage. The site was put up for sale in recent years, however whether the buildings will still be in a standing condition when the sales finally go through - who knows?

Enjoyed this place when I went. It's being developed soon I recall?

Anyone spot it was used for filming. It appeared in Casualty on Sat 29th Nov, wthin the first 10 mins. Spotted it immediately!
