I thought I'd post to see if anyone has explored St John's Conduit in Bristol? If anyone has, how easy did you find accessibility and explorability?
I've got a little booklet about the Conduit that was produced in the '80's that conveniently has a plan of the conduit with features/details extant as of October 1984; a handy little rough guide for when I eventually (hopefully.) get down there.
Looking at the plan, it looks like the only access point are manhole covers that are in pretty public places. It's looking like I'll have to be bold as brass entering 😆
One final question. Is anyone interested in joining in on a potential explore of the conduit? At the moment I've no idea when I'll be attempting an explore; am happy for people to join me when I do if they want to.
