Report - St Peters Hall, Bournemouth July 2016

So after spending some time in bournemouth one evening on a different adventure we came across this place by mistake. As we looked for access which was pretty easy given its current state we decided to go inside, it’s a shame this building is in such a state. But nether the less it still has some cool little features which are worth going to check out. I believe recently it was used as a nightclub called “Crank” other than that I can’t seem to find any history on this place so if anybody knows anything please let me know! visited with @UrbexCamo & @Tizmeister

In the 90s and early 00s this was a nightclub called "Berlins". It was pre smoking ban so the carpets were like soggy ashtrays. They replaced much of the carpet with industrial-style metal to reduce the squelch and the smell. It half worked. Above the central area, which was the dance floor was a "Wonderwall". 6 squares the lit up and every hour or so they'd play the Wonderwall - the lights would flash and at random it would pick one of the squares, which would have a drinks promotion, like Archer's for £1 or a bottle of Metz for £1.50. There was an upstairs balcony with a bar and a separate "VIP" area which looked down on the whole space.
Many a drunken night there and because it was the 90s, no camera phones recording the evidence, thank goodness.
