St Thomas's Hospital Medical School stands on the banks of the river Thames at the very heart of London and is located on St Thomas’ hospital campus. This hospital offers some of the highest quality healthcare in the world, and was established in 1173. The medical school is one of the oldest and most prestigious in the UK, and according to historical records it was founded in about 1550. It was admitted as a school for the University of London in 1900, but remained a constituent part of St Thomas’ hospital until 1948 when it formally became part of the university. In 1982 the medical school merged with the medical school at Guy’s hospital to form the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals.

Lordy, they seem to be taking forever to develop that place, I wonder if it has stopped?

The medical school looks like it's just slowly rotting into the ground and there's no sign of any redevelopment...

there was quite a bit of tidying up and stripping done about a year ago after I had a nose but now things seem to have stopped.
I had heard it was going to be redeveloped back into a medical education facility. I was very happy about this as I have many fond memories there, but my gut feeling is that this is all back on hold again.

It would be great if the site is redeveloped back as a medical school. It's sad to see it empty and decaying as it's such a huge space. There's also a flat joined to it (which is on the bankside) the head of the medical school used to live there. Unfortunately I couldn't get into it.
