Most fetid derp ever? It's a tie between this and the water tower at Cane Hill. Wet pigeon shit with bits of blood in it: Nope, Nope & More Nope. Visited this one twice - first with Silverstealth and few years later with Lula. 0742 had found a way into this place by climbing through the crypt. It was the most horrid way into any building I can think of. Clothes were binned off. The second visit just involved climbing through one of the windows in broad daylight. Typical Wakefield, nobody gave a shit. Sadly the chapel burnt down and was demolished a few years later - the stained glass window at the end was one of the most unique things I've seen in an asylum chapel - it was an absolute crying shame it wasn't saved in some capacity.

There are a few token shots of the remains of the rest of the asylum which was long since converted. No trip is complete without a trip to the museum next door either. Hello Mr Pocock.

Ah yesssss. I always loved the weirdo clock tower here. Incidentally I had a visit planned here a few days after the fire. Never did forgive the feckers for that one.
