Report - Swinton & Pendlebury Labour Club, Salford - June 2024

A completely unexpected visit with @stranton, having had an unsuccessful attempt at another derp nearby. As you can probably imagine, there is absolutely no history available for this place, the club looks to have been built in the 1960’s and closed around 2010. The club is a typical modern build sat on top of a row of shops, the main club is split across the first and second floor of the building. With a Snooker Room, Darts Room and Lounge on the first floor and a cabaret suite on the second floor. Considering the ease of access. the club is in great condition with very few signs of decay other than the odd pigeon infested room, the club still houses two Snooker Tables which @stranton couldn't resist a quick game on.

Just a small word of warning to anyone wanting to try this. I have just had a massive fail here and was kindly escorted of the site by a security guard. He told me someone had 'broke in' last nite and 'smashed' the place up so they are keeping an eye on it!

Damn I'm sure there are spy's 🤣 can't understand the point I really can't. It's almost at a point of if found post later kinda thing. Absolutely gutted nothing is safe.

I know mate. Funny thing is he wasn't even security for THAT site.. as soon as I had my hand on the back door to try it he came running out from one of the shops (its attached to a row of shops/flats) He was screaming at us that he was going to phone the police and he literally followed me all the way back to my car! It was only when I turned it and threatened HIM with the police for harrassing me that he backed off!! These people man I swear 😂

I'm actually gutted about that one though as this is my (and my Son's) kind of thing... ah well, on to the next 😁
