So it is probably obvious by now that I love a good pub, so when I found out this one was 'open' again I thought it was worth a look. The pub is about a 10 minute drive from Northwich town centre and was a very popular venue in its day, at closure the site consisted of two different parts of the business. The main pub seen in the first photo and a indian restaurant seen in the third photo. Both of these shared the same kitchen and cellar.
There isn't much history on the place, it closed in 2012 following financial trouble, it was left pretty much intact when the owners left, but a wave of vandalism and arson has left the pub in a right state. In January this year a section of roof from the indian restaurant was blown loose and came crashing down onto the car park, following this negotiations between the pubs owner and the local council were held to make the building more secure.
