HISTORY
Originally built as a farm it would of been a very simple dwelling with thatched roof and white washed walls with three small cottages attached to the left hand side the farmer here bred his own cows for meat which he sold in the local markets in and around burnley (the location of the cattle market would of been where the police station is now and evidence still exists in the form of a stone carving of a bulls head) the furthest cottage was occupied by a clay pipe maker incidentally the only one in the area the bull and butcher pub later became the ashoka indian restaurant which closed its doors in 2010 due to the recession and has been closed ever since , there are plans afoot to turn it into an Italian in the near future

EXPLORE
This place has been on my radar for a little while I wasn't too keen tho knowing it wouldn't hold hardly any original features as I once came here for a meal years ago, it was one of those explores that you do just to say you done it.
access has always been there despite a difficult entry point for some it was quickly accessed and explored with @LancashireExplorations and a none member (check out trek with danny on youtube ) did a good hour got a few decent shots and left and that's all I have to say about that on with some piks

I'm sure it would have been much more interesting before the Indian restaurant days!

ive seen piks of when it was the pub before and after they raised the roof hight it was the same level as the barn all the way across this replaced the farm house around the 1800s
they added the upstairs pub bit in the 1900s
