A very small village in north Lincolnshire holds a lost pub and b&b.
While driving around this area we stumbled across this pub in a tiny village. After some research this pub was also a b&b with lodgings upstairs and behind the pub in detached chalets. The pub closed down after the landlord left due to rent rises and no one took over in 2014.
On approach the entire perimeter seemed to be fenced off, but one section was bushes, in which there was a little passage way to get in.
Around the back was an entrance into the pub, we could see straight away this place had succumb to a lot of vandalism, and it got worse the further we got in.
The vandalism made this explore a bit dreary as there had been holes smashed into the floors, piles upon piles of smashed glasses, china and furniture. As we left we noticed the lodgings at the back which were difficult to get to, but we managed to get there, there were 4 chalets but only one was accessible.
Upon entering this one, the contents were shocking, what seemed to be someone’s entire possessions were scattered all around the room and the bed and bedding still there. Further inspection showed evidence that there had been major drug use going on in that room, so feeling uneasy we left as soon as we could.
