Anyone got any idea when this will be explorable? Is it doable during decommissioning or is it best to wait the 2 years for the demolition phase to begin? I've lived almost next to it my whole life and have been waiting for this for a while haha

May as well have a peek. Just had a look online about it and there isn’t any official dates for Decom and demo, just estimations so it could just start getting cut up at some point. The last coal fired station, plus it’s pretty huge, it’s bound to have some good security.
if you do visit, let us know cause I’d love to get down there as it’s not too far away. I’d love to see a proper power station before they’re all gone

No it's not, there is around two years decommissioning work to be done first.

If anyone does go they would need some way to get past this fence. It runs the whole way around the site with no gaps, I'd say its about 3 meters tall and its electrified all up the back

Ratclife's location is easy to get to, railway station is next to it
