The explore
Explored with Miss Mayhem, Stranton, KM Punk, WildBoyz, Lost Explorer.
I have to say this explore was an effort to get to next time will definitely go in further down river as the hour walk we had to it was torture. I have to take my hat of to how long and far WildBoyz made it down the river without breaching his wellies. to explore all of this would most likely require days as the two side tunnels went on forever by the look of them. we had to evacuate before the very end as we were all so tired from getting to it.
I wont tell you how we escaped but if you could imagine two nice ladies a step ladder and a lot of embarrassment then you get the idea.
History
This is a very large culvert running under Coventry. the river running through is the river Sherbourne and according to the BBC, the culvert was built in the 1960s and is saving the city 1.5 billion in flood action savings although it also states they are planning to spend 3.3 million to open up part of the culvert to the puplic to attract more tourism. I couldn't find much more than that.
Thanks for looking.
