Visited with Georgie and The Kwan, Thanks lad's for a great and fun day
Not much history to be had on this but:
This culvert runs under St Helens town center and is called the hotties due to an outflow of hot water flowing in to it from the St Helens glass factory.

It was cool to see where the old part of the culvert was connected with the new. just one sign of when a town expands what lies beneath has to expand also.

In this newer part We saw an animal the size of a cat ? it vanished in to the water as We got nearer.

The Kwan with his chestie waders on.

The Kwan trying to fly

And lastly the reason the culverts called the hotties.
